Eigentlich ist diese Sendung sowieso immer im Dienst, denn neue oder vergessene Musiktalente wollen fortwährend aufgespürt werden. Heute aber heben wir diese Haltung einmal in den Titel der Ausgabe.
Auch das New Yorker Trio The Big Net sieht sich in der Verantwortung: „In The Service Of Song“ heißt ihr besonderes Album. Eingespielt an nur zwei Tagen, offenbart es gefühlvolle und atmosphärisch aufgeladene Songs. Der Servicegedanke äußert sich darin, dass einem die Musik mit samtweichen Gitarrensounds zur Seite steht – wunderbar melancholisch und tröstlich zugleich, in Krisenzeiten oder auch außerhalb davon.
Ebenfalls im Dienst mit neuen Songs befinden sich grundständige Arbeiter*innen wie Hologram Teen, TUNS und The Fernweh. Verrichtete Werke, die gehört werden wollen!
