Zur aktuellen ByteFM-Themenwoche «Ian Curtis/ Joy Division» hat Golden Glades nicht viel beizutragen. Immerhin lautet unsere Devise ‘Pop Division’ – sie soll uns leiten bei der Erkundung melodienseliger Musik jenseits des Mainstreams. Wir wollen uns harmonischen Wendungen hingeben, engelsgleichen Gesängen und butterweichen Sounds. Mit dabei: die schönen Debütalben von Gary Olson und Brandi Ediss sowie der retro-futuristische Kammerpop von Orwell.

Wenn Geschwister musikalisch gemeinsame Sache machen, wird es schnell kompliziert – immerhin ist der kleine Bruder oder auch die große Schwester der erste Feind des Lebens. Die Konkurrenz ist der Geschwister-Musik oft anzuhören – aber natürlich auch die geteilte musikalische DNA und oft sogar eine ähnliche Stimmfärbung.
