Was nützt all die gute Musik da draussen, wenn sie keiner kennt? Golden Glades geht deshalb einmal mehr auf Entdeckungsreise und präsentiert heute romantische Klänge aus dem Baltikum, Schmuckstücke aus Schottland sowie Hits aus Oakland: «Cielo Nublado» heißt der charmante Zweitling von Jen Weisberg und ihrer Band Hits. Da kommt ein Sound zum Tragen, der sich zwischen Postpunk und Pop-Avantgarde bewegt und weniger durch Perfektion glänzt als durch Hingabe.
Das französisch-amerikanische Duo Pearl & The Oysters hingegen zelebriert auf «Flowerland» akribisches Wissen in Sachen Lounge-Pop, Tropicalia, R&B und Jazz: Sie fahren alles auf, was ein Musikstudium so hergeben kann – aber bleiben auf ihrem Roundtrip geschmackvoll. Mit ausgeholfen hat u.a. auch das Multitalent Dent May.
